Acute points (Xi, column points)

Scores have direct connections to individual organs or areas of the body.

At acute points blood and qi come especially close.

Acute points help with

1. acute complaints of individual organs (heart, bile, stomach, intestine, etc.),
2. painful conditions of the same,
3. therapy-resistant diseases,
4. neurovegetative disorders

The points can be vigorously stimulated even after treatment with needles by acupressure. The needling itself, however, should be rather calming (sedative).
